Garden Update

So these garden posts are way behind. Maybe I’ll catch up, then again maybe not. The plants are doing great and I even have a few flowers on some of them but I’ll talk about that in like three updates from now.

So for this update I moved my plants from the seed starter into plastic cups.

plantsincup2 plantsincupThey stayed in these for about 2 weeks and then I moved them to something bigger. But that will be in my next garden update!

The Apple Tree Is In Bloom

So the apple tree has bloomed and it is really pretty! I decided to take a few pictures and work on my photography. I hope you enjoy!

I got a little distracted from the apple tree. Just thought I would throw this in here for fun!

A Day In Asheville

So this past Tuesday I spent the day in Asheville.

My parents had some things they needed to do and I needed a pair of shoes for prom so it was a win win!

I was so excited that we got to go into down town Asheville. And I was really happy that I got a few pictures.

We then had to take my prom dress to a fabric store because its missing something to lace it up in the back.

Next came lunch at Earth Fare! I had vegetable lasagna, broccoli and cheese casserole, mashed potatoes, and a salad. Little portions of each, but boy did it fill me up!

Then came the shoe shopping! We found the perfect pair of shoes to go will my dress.

So over all it was a great day!

17th Birthday!!

So today is my birthday and it has been wonderful!

I woke up to a beautiful rose at my table setting this morning! I absolutely love roses.

Their are a few things happening today that I will save for the next few posts!

And I really want to say “thank you” to every one that wished me a happy birthday! I love you all dearly!

Springtime Photography part 1

Spring is in the air (sort of). Our first week of spring was cold and yucky and we even got some snow, but our last week of winter was in the 60’s and sunny. So a lot of the flowers got confused and started to bloom. Then we had our late freeze and now most of them are now brown and droopy and kind of depressing.

So the weather is finally starting to warm up and the flowers are blooming again! And I jumped on the opportunity to take some pictures. Who doesn’t love a good photo opportunity right? Anyway, here are a few of the pictures I took. There will be more pictures to come because the rhododendron buds still have yet to open up and I can’t wait for that to happen.  But for now I hope you enjoy the few pictures I got. I’m still a bit of a novice at photography, but I really love it so I’m working on getting better at it! If you have any tips let me know in the comments.IMG_1623
